INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This information page is made available to you to allow you to understand how and for what purposes your personal data is collected and processed in the context of the use of the site www.romagnatech.eu. The information that we will provide you below relates to the site www.romagnatech. Eu (hereinafter, “Site”), it does not concern other websites and/or applications that may be consulted via links to external pages of third parties.

Any personal data that you wish to provide to Romagna Tech, directly or otherwise, through the Site, including in the context of the services offered (hereinafter “Services”), will be processed in compliance with the fundamental principles regarding the protection of Personal Data, such as the principle of transparency, minimization, lawfulness and correctness.

1. Data controller

The Data Controller of the Personal Data processed through the Site, for the purposes described below, is the company Romagna Tech SCpa. , with registered office in Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi n. 49 – Forlì (FC); VAT number : 02327720401, Email address : privacy@romagnatech.eu (hereinafter “Romagna Tech” or “Data Controller”).

2. Personal data processed

While browsing the Site and within the scope of the Services offered, the Data Controller will process information concerning you and which may be collected automatically during your browsing of the Site or provided by you directly (for example when you use the form on the Contact page, when you want to subscribe to the newsletter or when you request to use the Services offered through the Site).

In particular, the Personal Data processed through the Site are:

a) Name and contact details and other Personal Data

In some sections of the Site, for example on the Contact page, you will be asked to enter some Personal Data such as name, surname and email address, as well as any additional information you wish to communicate to us using the appropriate space where you can enter your message.

In the sections that provide free entry fields, we ask you not to send us Personal Data that could reveal your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, data relating to health or sexual orientation. We wish to underline the importance of explicit consent with regard to such Personal Data, in the event that you decide to communicate them anyway.

If you intend to communicate Personal Data of other people to us, you act as an independent data controller and therefore assume all the burdens and obligations provided for by the current legislation, including the verification of the suitability of the legal basis of the processing. In such cases, you grant Romagna Tech the broadest indemnity and guarantee with respect to possible disputes or claims of third parties to whom the Personal Data you have communicated or transmitted to us refer.

b) Personal data functional to access the Services

Through the Site you can access the Services made available by Romagna Tech, such as registration for events organized and described in the News section. For example, when you request to register for an event, you are asked to provide Personal Data such as name, surname, email and other information relating to your professional life. The Data necessary and mandatory to use the Service are marked with an asterisk (*).

When you use the Services, the Personal Data provided by you will be collected and processed to manage the activities connected and functional to providing you with the Service you requested. During the use of the Services, you may also be asked for information relating to payment methods, such as bank transfer or credit card.

Additional Personal Data may be collected during the management of any relationship with Romagna Tech following the request for the Service, for example for the Data that you decide to provide us by contacting the contact details on the Site.

c) Browsing data and cookies

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL ( Uniform Resource Identifier /Locator) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment.

Such Data is also processed for the purpose of obtaining statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning.

3. Purpose of processing and legal basis

The Data Controller will process your Personal Data for the purposes described below.

  1. Provision of Services : your Data will be processed to perform all the activities necessary for the use of the Services you have requested, such as registering for an event. In particular, your Data will be processed to provide you with assistance, to verify your identity, to give you access to the Service and, in general, to provide any other Service you request.
    The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses on the Site, for example through the Contact page, involves the acquisition of the Data necessary to respond to your requests, as well as any Personal Data included in your communications.
    The legal basis of the processing is the execution of a contract to which you are a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request. This processing is necessary to correctly provide you with the Services you have requested;
  2. Soft Spam: your Data will be processed, only if you have requested the Services on the Site, to send you marketing communications, promotions and advertising via email, relating to products or services similar to those you have purchased. For example, if you sign up for one of the events organized, you will receive future communications on Romagna Tech events at the email address provided. You can object to this purpose at any time, following the instructions contained in the paragraph “Rights of the interested party” or simply by clicking on the unsubscribe or cancellation link that you will find at the bottom of each email received;
  3. Marketing : only if you have given specific consent, through a specific checkbox or by subscribing to the newsletter, your Data will be processed to carry out information activities on Romagna Tech products and services, as well as promotional, commercial, market research and marketing activities or, again, activities to detect the degree of customer satisfaction by sending questionnaires, carrying out surveys or conducting polls. This activity may be carried out both through the use of automated systems without operator intervention, such as email, and with traditional contact methods such as postal service and telephone. By deciding to subscribe to the newsletter using the appropriate forms on the Site, you will receive promotional and commercial communications via email on Romagna Tech services and activities.
    This processing is based on your explicit and free consent: you are not obliged to provide such consent and, if you do so, you are always free to revoke it at any time without suffering any consequences other than that of no longer receiving marketing communications. You can revoke the consent given for this purpose by following the instructions contained in the paragraph “Rights of the interested party” or, with regard to the receipt of communications via email, by clicking on the unsubscribe or cancellation link that you will find at the bottom of each email received;
  4. Profiling : only if you have given specific consent through the appropriate checkbox , your Data will be processed to understand and/or predict your preferences and interests, in order to send you commercial communications and offer you Services in line with your interests.
    Furthermore, through some types of cookies present on the Site, the Data Controller may carry out profiling activities, always with your prior consent to the use of profiling cookies or similar technologies. This purpose includes, for example, the analysis of the use made of the Site and the effectiveness of advertisements and promotions also present on third-party platforms. With reference to the details of the activities of cookies and similar technologies, we invite you to refer to what is specified in the Cookie Policy and to the list of cookies, including third-party cookies, accessible from the cookie banner or from the “Cookie Policy” link in the footer of the Site.
    This processing is based on your explicit consent. You are not obliged to provide such consent and, if you do, you are always free to revoke it at any time without suffering any consequences other than no longer receiving personalized and profiled communications. You can revoke the consent given for this purpose by following the instructions contained in the paragraph “Rights of the interested party” and, with regard to cookies, through the “Cookie Policy” link located in the footer of the Site, following the instructions in paragraph 3 “How to manage or delete cookies”;
  5. Legal obligations : your Data may be processed to allow Romagna Tech to fulfill the obligations set forth by national, EU or international laws, regulations and standards, or by binding provisions issued by the competent Authorities. The legal basis of the processing is the fulfillment of legal obligations by the Data Controller. The provision of Personal Data for this purpose is necessary to allow the Data Controller to fulfill the regulatory obligations to which it is subject;
  6. Security : Your Data may be processed to prevent and/or identify any anomalies, fraudulent activities and/or abuses in the use of the Site or the Services. The legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller aimed at preventing or identifying activities or abuses that also have, possibly, criminal relevance.

4. Recipients

Your Personal Data may be shared with the parties indicated below:

  1. Authorized to process by the Data Controller, duly designated and who have undertaken to maintain confidentiality or have in any case received an adequate legal obligation of confidentiality (e.g. Romagna Tech employees);
  2. Third parties designated as Data Processors, with the task of processing the Data on behalf of the Data Controller, for example subjects with whom it is necessary to interact for the provision of services such as hosting providers, suppliers of platforms for sending emails, subjects delegated to carry out maintenance activities on network equipment and electronic communication networks;
  3. Subjects, entities or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your Data for the purposes of fulfilling legal obligations, Security.

Your Personal Data is not intended for publication or dissemination.

Some of your Personal Data may be shared with recipients in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. The Data Controller ensures that in such cases the processing of your Personal Data will be in compliance with applicable law and, therefore, the transfers will be carried out with adequate guarantees, such as adequacy decisions, models of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other guarantees considered adequate.

5. Storage times and criteria

The Personal Data processed for the purpose of “Service Provision” will be retained for the time strictly necessary for the correct execution of your requests and the pre-contractual or contractual relationship with you in progress, unless there are legal needs or obligations that require a longer retention period.

Personal Data processed for the purposes of “Soft Spam”, “Marketing” and “Profiling” will be retained until the revocation of the consent given by you or until you object to the processing. In particular, the Data processed for Profiling purposes may be retained for 24 months respectively.

Personal Data processed for the purpose of “Legal Obligations” will be retained for the period required by specific legal obligations or by applicable legislation.

Personal Data processed for the purpose of “Security” will be retained for the time strictly necessary for the aforementioned purpose, also taking into account the time necessary for the protection in court and/or for the communication of such Data to the competent authorities.

6. Rights of the interested party

As an interested party, you have the right to obtain from Romagna Tech, in the cases provided for, access to your Personal Data and the rectification or cancellation of the same.

You also have the right to obtain the limitation of the processing of your Data and to oppose the processing (articles 15 and following of the Regulation).

You can also withdraw your consent at any time for the purposes of “Marketing” and “Profiling” and you can object to the processing for the purpose of “Soft Spam”. The consent expressed for the forwarding of promotional communications for the purposes of Marketing and Profiling extends not only to communications sent through the use of automated systems without the intervention of the operator (for example, e-mail), but also to traditional contact methods such as postal service or telephone. You can therefore withdraw your consent to the processing also in a disjointed and granular manner, deciding for example to receive such communications only via postal service and not through automated systems such as email. You can also stop receiving promotional communications for the purposes of Marketing, Profiling and Soft Spam sent to your email also by using the appropriate unsubscribe or cancellation link that you find at the bottom of each email received.

You can object to the use of profiling cookies when you use the Site by referring to the instructions contained in the Cookie Policy.

The specific request can be submitted preferably by email to privacy@romagnatech.eu, or to the contact details of the Data Controller indicated in the first paragraph of this Policy.

Interested parties who believe that the processing of their personal data carried out through this Site is in violation of the provisions of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor, as provided for by art. 77 of the Regulation itself, or to take appropriate legal action (art. 79 of the Regulation).

7. Updates and changes

The Data Controller reserves the right to modify, integrate or periodically update this Policy in compliance with applicable legislation or provisions adopted by the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data.
